Sinn Féin’s Chris Hazzard MP has confirmed that the highly acclaimed new documentary ‘No Stone Unturned’ will be shown in the Irish Parliament before Christmas.
Speaking at the Good Friday Agreement Committee in Dublin this week, the South Down MP welcomed the initiative by the campaign group and extended an invite to Simon Coveney, the Minister for Foreign Affairs to attend the screening and subsequent Q&A session.
Mr Hazzard said:
“This film has been released to astonishing reviews and record breaking numbers watching it in cinemas throughout Britain and Ireland in recent weeks. A number of highly successful information sessions have also been held in New York, London, Belfast, and now the public in Dublin will have a unique opportunity to engage with the issue in Dáil Éireann in December.
“Given the very pertinent politics of the film regarding collusion, national security vetos, and potential amnesty for Crown forces it is no surprise that interest in the film is rising all the time. Indeed its clear from the number of enquiries at this early stage that it will be a significant occasion in Dublin, with media and political representatives confirming their attendance in large numbers already.
